Recreational open space areas in Oro Valley are a distinctive feature of our town. These spaces are an investment in the well-being of our residents, enhancing quality of life. I look forward to promoting Oro Valley’s only nature preserve, Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve, where residents and visitors walk, jog, and ride bikes in a safe and beautiful setting. The restoration of this green space from a former golf course to a nature preserve contributes to the conservation and preservation of Oro Valley’s Sonoran Desert, while promoting ecological diversity for wildlife in a sustainable natural environment.
Oro Valley’s assured water portfolio is due to effective water management practices. Ensuring every aspect of future plans are viewed through the lens of water availability is essential for maintaining a thriving and sustainable community.
The Oro Valley Town Council race is a non-partisan election, so it will be on both the Republican and Democrat Primary Ballots.
If you are a registered Independent, you MUST request a Primary Ballot for EARLY voting, OR vote in person on Primary election day.
You can request a Primary Ballot here (starting in May): https://www.recorder.pima.gov/BallotByMailRequest
I will not solicit nor accept donations or endorsements from businesses, developers, or other organizations that will seek council approval of rezoning or town support. I intend to make my council decisions based upon what I determine is in the best interest of town residents.
